SECURITRON MODEL STK-1 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

TO RETROFIT MUNL-12/24 IN DOORS WITH SARGENT LOCKS

ORIGINAL FRAME

(After removing old

strike)

Frame was prepared

for a 4-7/8” ANSI

strike. Strike and

Mortise lock are 3/8”

off center to center.

2. PHYSICAL INSTALLATION

Generally, physical installation is

simply a matter of unscrewing the

strike, and removing it., The old

mounting tabs need to be cut away.

After tabs have been removed, file

down the lower edges approximately

1/16” to 3/32”.

1. DESCRIPTION

The STK-1 kit allows Securitron

Model MUNL Electric Strike to be

retro- fitted into door frames that

have a 4-7/8 ANSI strike and with

doors that have SARGENT 7800 or

8200 Mortise Lock.
